The way you have composed around the reflection in the melting ice is terrific, the ruffle of leaves in the foreground, log askance in the medium, and hedgerow in the background. Your coverage of grey values is exemplary.

Wonderful range of light and the reflections in the water and ice give a cheerfulness - our January thaw up here has meant - more ice!
