To answer Sunny's suggestion - the little guy is alive and well and with antennae that are about three inches long - when I put my hand close, the critter moves his wands and takes my measure.
There is so much light reflected everywhere that he must feel dizzy! :-) Fantastic capture.
I really like this unusual shot. The insect looks like it could be made of glass and the glass looks like ice.
