Somewhere west of Charleston on I64 as we tried to beat the oncoming storms. We almost made it, running into snow east of Louisville and driving through the last 100 plus miles in the dark with the roads slick with snow and slush. Not much fun but it sure made getting home a real treat.

Oh, I bet it was a treat to get home!! Hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas! I surely did as my oldest daughter, whom I hadn't seen in seven years, surprised me with a wonderful Christmas visit! What fun that was!! Our weather isn't stormy, but continues to be cold, gray and wet! Wishing you and your family very Happy New Year, Michael!
